Summary
We conducted single-cell gene expression analysis to elucidate the molecular basis of immune cells in the mouse lung associated with age-dependent severity of COVID-19 infection. In aged infected mice, genes associated with inflammation were more highly expressed in several cell populations compared to adult infected mice.
