Summary
Metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) is currently the most common liver disease worldwide, characterized primarily by liver fat accumulation. The progression of MAFLD occurs in a series of stages, from simple steatosis to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), and eventually to cirrhosis.The MASH mouse model developed pathological fat deposition and inflammatory infiltration after being subjected to a methionine/choline-deficient (MCD) diet for 6 weeks. Transcriptome sequencing was then conducted to analyze differentially expressed genes.
