Effect of circ72309 overexpression on gene expression related to gemcitabine sensitivity in pancreatic cancer cell lines

GSE297082 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 6 samples Submitted 2026/01/01 Platform GPL24676
Summary
Understanding the molecular characteristics of gemcitabine sensitivity in pancreatic cancer is essential for advancing individualized treatment strategies. This study identifies circ72309 as a potential contributor to improve gemcitabine sensitivity. circ72309 decreased cytidine deaminase, a nucleoside enzyme which transforms gemcitabine into an inactive form, via reactive oxygen species activity, and increased solute carrier family 29 member 1 (SLC29A1), a nucleoside transporter which imports gemcitabine into cells, by regulating targeted miRNAs.
