Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing of Myosin VI

GSE300165 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 6 samples Submitted 2026/01/13 Platform GPL20301
Summary
Around 75% of breast cancer patients have estrogen receptor (ER) positive breast cancer. Endocrine-related therapies employed to treat these patients often fail due to resistance. Consequently, new therapeutic targets are needed. Myosin VI (MVI) is increasingly implicated in cancer and has been identified to interact with the ER, and it has roles in the spatial organisation of RNA Polymerase II. In addition, gene and protein expression levels of ER and MVI are correlated across breast cancer tissue samples.

Direct links to NCBI, no account and no request form: the whole study as GSE300165_RAW.tar, processed values as the series matrix, the supplementary file directory, and per-sample supplementary files for any of the 6 samples. Raw sequencing reads are also available from ENA.

Also filed as BioProject PRJNA1279160 and SRA study SRP592961. Searching any of these in the dataset finder brings you back here.
