Summary
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) continues to cause outbreaks around the world despite the vast vaccination programs against it. Thus, it is important to keep developing better vaccines and other strategies to protect vulnerable populations. Here, we studied the safety of an adenovirus-based COVID-19 vaccine on human umbilical vein endothelial cells by total RNA sequencing and found, that the adenoviral vector vaccines had minimal effects on the gene expression profile of these cells.
