Epigenetic dysregulation of energy homeostasis drives aortic valve stenosis that is treatable with metformin [RNA-Seq]

GSE302550 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 6 samples Submitted 2025/07/18 Platform GPL24247
Summary
This study aimed to characterize transcriptomic alterations in murine aortic valves following conditional deletion of Hdac3 in valvular interstitial cells. By comparing gene expression profiles between control and Hdac3-deficient valves, we aimed to identify molecular pathways regulated by HDAC3 that are crucial for maintaining aortic valve structure and function. These data provide insights into the epigenetic and metabolic mechanisms underlying non-calcific aortic valve disease.
