Summary
Kinases require divalent cations for enzymatic activity. In vivo manganese shows glucose lowering properties in mice and humans. Here, we used RNA-Seq to investigate the effects of increasing cellular Mn content on gene expression in primary mouse hepatocytes compared to insulin treatment.
