Summary
An RNA transcriptome sequencing analysis was performed in SNU-668 erastin-resistant cells to investigate their molecular profile. To assess the specific role of the SPIN1 protein, a comparative approach was undertaken. This involved transfecting the cells with either a targeted shRNA construct against SPIN1 or, for baseline comparison, a non-targeting control shRNA. The subsequent sequencing data were then generated to enable a detailed comparison of gene expression patterns between these two experimental conditions, aiming to identify key transcriptional changes associated with SPIN1 knockdown in the context of ferroptosis resistance.
