Summary
Bulk RNA sequencing was performed to investigate estrogen-responsive transcriptomic changes during ligature-induced periodontitis in female C57BL/6J mice. Gingiva and dentoalveolar complex tissues were collected from sham-operated, ovariectomized, and estrogen-replaced ovariectomized mice following ligature-induced periodontitis. Differential expression and pathway analyses were used to identify estrogen-responsive changes in repair-, stromal-, and immune-related gene programs
