Summary
Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) are critical components of the prostate tumor microenvironment and modulate therapeutic responses. In this study, we aimed to investigate the transcriptomic alterations in primary human prostate cancer CAFs subjected to different anti-androgen treatments. Primary CAFs were isolated from human prostate cancer tissues and cultured in vitro. The cells were divided into three treatment groups: Vehicle (control), Androgen Deprivation Therapy (ADT), and a combination of ADT plus Enzalutamide (ADT_Enza). High-throughput RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) was performed on 9 samples (3 biological replicates per group) to identify differentially expressed genes and underlying molecular mechanisms. This dataset provides a comprehensive stromal transcriptomic landscape, offering insights into how CAFs react to standard-of-care prostate cancer therapies.
