Neuroprotective function of dietary lycopene in Parkinson’s disease mice: targeting the dopamine transporter DAT/SLC6A3 to restore dopaminergic homeostasis

GSE336581 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 6 samples Submitted 2026/08/05 Platform GPL24247
Summary
Currently, there are still many limitations in the prevention and treatment of Parkinson's disease (PD), and the development of effective preventive and therapeutic drugs remains a top priority. The aim of this study is to investigate whether lycopene (LYC) can exert neuroprotective effects by regulating solute carrier family 6 member 3 (DAT/SLC6A3).
