Transcriptomic profiling of Piezo1-deficient osteoclast precursors

GSE337664 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 4 samples Submitted 2026/08/01 Platform GPL19057
Summary
Mechanical stimulation regulates bone remodeling, but the molecular mechanisms by which mechanosensing controls osteoclast differentiation remain incompletely understood. To identify transcriptional pathways downstream of the mechanosensitive ion channel Piezo1, bulk RNA sequencing was performed on osteoclast precursors derived from bone marrow monocytes of female control and monocyte-specific Piezo1 conditional knockout mice. Differential gene expression analysis was used to identify signaling pathways regulated by Piezo1 during osteoclastogenesis.
