Summary
To define the functional impact of ELF-1 on macrophage-driven AKI, we induce M1 polarization in ELF-1-deficient murine macrophages and perform RNA-seq. Building on clinical correlations between ELF-1 and inflammatory cytokines, this study systematically profiles ELF-1-dependent genes and pathways, with the goal of elucidating how ELF-1 orchestrates M1 polarization and contributes to the pathogenesis of AKI following renal transplantation.
