SRPK2 overexpression remodels the transcriptome landscape of triple-negative breast cancer cells

GSE338307 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 6 samples Submitted 2026/07/15 Platform GPL24676
Summary
SRPK2 (SRSF protein kinase 2) is a serine/arginine-rich protein-specific kinase that phosphorylates SR splicing factors and regulates pre-mRNA alternative splicing. SRPK2 is highly expressed in breast cancer and associated with poor prognosis. To characterize how SRPK2 remodels gene expression in triple-negative breast cancer, we performed strand-specific RNA-seq of MDA-MB-231 cells transiently transfected with a SRPK2-FLAG expression plasmid (OE) or the corresponding empty vector (NC).
