Summary
Necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) is a life-threatening gastrointestinal disease in newborns. Myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) play an important role in immunosuppressive function and ameliorate NEC. G protein-coupled receptor kinase-interacting protein 2 (GIT2) has been implicated in multiple immune processes. Our study demonstrates that Git2 deficiency in mice can promote MDSCs recruiment in intestine. This data will reveal that the mechanism of MDSCs' intestinal gathering in Git2-knockout mice compares to wilde type mice.
