Summary
Constitutive Pla2g4e knockout mice exhibited significant behavioral alterations, particularly in memory function, different brain lipid composition, and decreased levels of cortical synaptic plasticity markers compared to wild-type counterparts.We performed gene expression profiling analysis os neurons lacking PLA2G4E to study the function of this enzyme in synaptic transmission.
