Dissecting the radio-protection of hemp seed oil on splenic lymphocytes at single-cell level

GSE266605 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 3 samples Submitted 2026/06/30 Platform GPL24247
Summary
In summary, we illustrated that HSO can increase the survival of mice and protects splenic T cells under acute irradiation. The exclusive protection of T cells induced by HSO involved multiple pathways including alleviate oxidative stress, suppressing apoptotic pathways, upregulating anti-inflammatory functions and regulating cell cycle or proliferation. These findings offer vital supports for application of HSO as a prophylactic medicine not only for surviving acute irradiation but also for improving the living quality after exposure.
