Effect of the expression of HP1 proteins from different species (mouse, fruit fly, fission yeast) in mouse 3T3 cells

GSE271404 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 6 samples Submitted 2025/06/12 Platform GPL28457
Summary
HP1 proteins play a role in heterochromatin regulation and higher-order chromatin organization. The domain structure of HP1 is conserved, but the properties and functions of HP1 homologs from different organisms might vary. To address this issue, we expressed HP1 from different species in mouse 3T3 cells and assessed the impact on gene expression by RNA-seq.
