Summary
Bulk RNA-seq was performed on brain tissue from mice following closed head injury (CHI) or sham surgery at 9h, 24h, and 72h post-injury. Four genotypes were studied: C57BL/6J wild-type, IL-1R1 global knockout (gKO), IL-1R1 endothelial restore (eRestore), and IL-1R1 neuronal restore (nRestore) to dissect cell-type specific IL-1R1 signaling contributions to the transcriptomic response to traumatic brain injury.
