Effect of Liver-specific SelO Knockout on the Liver Transcriptome of Mice on a Normal Diet

GSE277735 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 6 samples Submitted 2026/01/04 Platform GPL28457
Summary
This study investigates the role of SelO in liver metabolism. RNA sequencing analysis of mouse liver tissues revealed significantly differentially expressed genes enriched in pathways related to fatty acid beta-oxidation and NAD-related metabolic processes. Our cell biology and biochemistry experiments suggest that SelO is involved in lipid metabolism. These findings indicate that the knockout of SelO leads to transcriptomic changes that align with increased lipid oxidation
