A serotonergic mechanism is involved in the procognitive effect of CB1R peripheral inhibition in a mouse model of fragile X syndrome

GSE278037 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 9 samples Submitted 2025/01/30 Platform GPL24247
Summary
Using RNA sequencing, we perform gene expression profile of five Fmr1 KO mice treated with vehicle and four Fmr1 KO mice sub-chronically treated with AM6545 at a dose of 1 mg/kg. To evaluate hippocampal modifications promoted by peripheral CB1R modulation, we analyze gene expression and describe the upregulation of serotonin receptor 4 as the main gene modified after sub-chronic AM6545 treatment in fragile X syndrome.
