TRF2 downregulation acts as an upstream driver of heart failure

GSE285948 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 9 samples Submitted 2026/01/04 Platform GPL24247
Summary
We have conducted single‑nucleus RNA sequencing to investigate mouse cardiomyocytes with Terf2 cardiomyocyte-specific knockout. Cardiomyocytes play a crucial role in heart function. The down - regulation of TRF2 may affect cellular processes and gene expression patterns within cardiomyocytes. This study aims to reveal the changes in the nuclear transcriptome of these cells, providing insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying the impact of TRF2 down - regulation on cardiomyocyte function.
