Transcriptional differences between freshly isolated and long-lived naïve P14 CD8 T cells prior to infection

GSE290461 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 8 samples Submitted 2025/11/14 Platform GPL24247
Summary
The heterogeneity of antigen-specific naïve CD8 T cells has not yet been fully elucidated. We found that long-lived naïve CD8 T cells, incubated in naïve B6 mice for more than 30 days, generate significantly higher numbers of effector and memory CD8 T cells after lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV)-Armstrong infection compared to freshly isolated naive CD8 T cells. To examine differences between long-lived and freshly isolated naive CD8 T cells prior to infection, a bulk RNA-seq analysis was performed.
