High throughput RNA-seq analysis in human primary chondrocytes treated with cyproheptadine and IL-1β

GSE291878 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 20 samples 2025/07/11 GPL30173
Summary
Osteoarthritis is the most common joint disease. Controlling the complex pathogenesis is challenging, thus disease-modifying OA drugs (DMOADs) are not available. We identified cyproheptadine as a potential DMOAD candidate and performed bulk RNA-seq to determine its effects on the transcriptome in human primary chondrocytes in the absence or presence of IL-1β.
