Summary
This dataset includes gene expression profiles from kidney and skeletal muscle samples of young male C57BL/6J mice with α-klotho gene knockout, along with age-matched wild-type controls. This short-lived model was used to validate transcriptomic clocks and to comprehensively characterize the molecular hallmarks of mortality associated with this genetic modification.
