Summary
Cold exposure has been shown to induce white adipose tissue (WAT) browning and alter WAT gene expression and lipid metabolism. To understand the transcriptomic profiles of WAT and brown adipose tissue (BAT) upon cold exposure, we performed RNA-seq analysis of inguinal WAT (iWAT) and BAT from mice maintained at either room temperature (RT, 22 °C) or cold (6 °C).
