Stromal Erbb3 shapes uterine gland morphogenesis [RNA-seq]

GSE309147 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 8 samples Submitted 2026/04/01 Platform GPL34328
Summary
Uterine glands are critical for embryo implantation by secreting leukemia inhibitory factor. We show that stromal Erbb3 is required for uterine gland morphogenesis in mice, and its deletion causes implantation failure, impaired gland branching, and reduced LIF expression. Transcriptome analyses identify a stromal IGF1/IGF1R signaling axis that regulates epithelial FOXA2 expression and gland development.
