CD47 Blockade Reprograms the Monocyte-Macrophage Axis to Promote Inflammation Resolution in Atherosclerosis

GSE319762 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 4 samples Submitted 2026/08/05 Platform GPL21626
Summary
Targeting the CD47-SIRPα axis, a dominant “don’t-eat-me” signal, via innate immune checkpoint inhibition limits atherosclerosis in preclinical models and early clinical studies. However, how this pro-efferocytic intervention reshapes the immune landscape of atherosclerotic lesions remains incompletely understood. Using single-cell transcriptomics, we comprehensively characterized the transcriptomic profile of mouse CD45+ aortic leukocytes by CD47 blockade.
