Summary
The chemotherapy regimen FOLFIRINOX has been shown to induce senescence in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) cells, as well as in immortalized normal human pancreatic ductal epithelium (HPNE-hTERT) cells. To investigate the transcriptional changes associated with treatment-induced senescence in non-malignant cells, RNA sequencing was performed on HPNE-hTERT cells that were either untreated (vehicle control) or treated with FOLFIRINOX for 4 days.
