Reprogramming Dedifferentiation Regulatory Networks Preserves Human Chondrocyte Phenotypes (RNA-Seq)

GSE327285 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 12 samples 2026/04/14 GPL20795
Summary
Chondrocyte-based cartilage repair strategies such as autologous chondrocyte implantation (ACI) require extensive in vitro expansion to obtain clinically relevant cell numbers. However, monolayer expansion drives chondrocyte dedifferentiation, reducing matrix-forming capacity and contributing to variable repair outcomes, a long-standing problem in cell-based cartilage repair.
