The resin glycoside Cus-1, a cuscutae extract, ameliorates oligozoospermia via an aquaporin-driven p38 MAPK/SAT1/GPX4 axis that suppresses ferroptosis and restores spermatogenesis

GSE336587 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 4 samples Submitted 2026/06/30 Platform GPL24247
Summary
This study employed 1H-NMR-guided isolation to rapidly pinpoint, purify and elucidate the on-the-map metabolite resin glycosides“Cus-1” from the Cuscuta chinensis Lam. phenotype, and subsequently interrogated its remedial value in a busulfan (BUS)-induced mouse model of oligozoospermia.
