Mutual repression of the RNA-binding protein PCBP2 and long non-coding RNAs in induced pluripotent stem cells

GSE139626 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 10 samples 2025/12/31 GPL18573
Summary
Data from our lab and others have previously implicated that C-rich elements (CREs) are enriched in mRNAs that are destabilized in pluripotent stem cells compared to fibroblasts. PCBP2 is an RNA-binding protein that interacts with CREs and can influence mRNA degradation. We sought to decipher the influence of PCBP2 on gene expression in human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC).
