Summary
To determine lineage and differentiation relationships among skeletal cell types in their native environment, we utilized PolGD257A/D257A mice with a mitochondrial DNA “mutator” phenotype for tracking clonal and sub-clonal mitochondrial mutations across skeletal populations .
