Summary
In this study endothelial cells of the forebrain, cerebellum, spinal cord, lungs and liver were acutely purified by FACS. RNA-Seq was performed on isolated endothelial cells and their transcriptome was compared to identify regional blood-brain barrier specific transcripts.
