Dendritic Cell maturation/migration is architected by chromatin accessibility and a tonic organismal IFNgR1 response gradient which governs immune priming and tolerance

GSE227933 Mus musculus Genome binding/occupancy profiling by high throughput sequencing 32 samples 2026/03/31 GPL24247
Summary
We found that Interferon gamma receptor 1 (IFNgR1) signaling regulates all aspects of tonic maturation including: tissue egress, migration, maturation, antigen capture and presentation, and subtly balances DC ontogeny. Through ATACseq analysis, we further identified that site-specific maturation is architected by chromatin accessibility and NFkB, suggesting IFNg serves as a local tissue-based maturation cue.
