Summary
We hypothesized that exposure to fatty acids in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis-like environment will profoundly affect gene expression of hepatocytes. More precisely, we wish to investigate expression of genes related to ferroptosis, i.e. an iron-catalyzed form of cell death through lethal lipid peroxidation.
