Summary
The receptor tyrosine kinase FLT3 is expressed in myeloid and lymphoid progenitor cells. Here, the influence of the FLT3 ITD mutation and PTPRC inactivation on the bone remodeling was studied in mice. Gene expression analysis of differentiated osteoclasts showed dysregulated signaling pathways influencing their differentiation as well as the coupling of bone resorption and formation.
