Summary
We used single-cell RNA-seq to compare epithelial and immune cell populations in non-manipulated brushings of the proximal airway mucosa in patients newly-diagnosed with IPF (n=9) as compared to healthy controls (n=7). 60,313 cells were profiled including 22,487 cells from healthy controls and 37,826 cells from patients with IPF.
