Summary
We generated cardiomyocyte-specific Pcbp1 knockout mice, and observed ventricular non-compaction defects and abnormal cardiac morphogenesis at E12.5 and E16.5. Majority of homozygous mutant mice died shortly after birth. We sought to identify the transcriptome changes at E16.5 by Pcbp1-deficiency in cardiomyocytes.
