Obesity promotes inflammatory, metabolic, and proliferative transcriptional programs in orthotopically transplanted murine colon tumors

GSE284066 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 15 samples 2025/10/06 GPL21103
Summary
The mechanisms driving obesity-associated colon cancer progression are not completely understood. This study leveraged RNA sequencing data from control and obese C57BL/6 mice to identify obesity-associated transcriptomic signatures. Bulk EpCAM+ epithelial tumor transcriptomic analyses revealed obesity-driven enrichment of inflammation, proliferation, and metabolic pathways.
