Transcriptomic profiling of A375 and PC9 cells following knockdown of the VCX gene family

GSE293413 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 12 samples 2025/04/05 GPL24676
Summary
To investigate the role of the VCX gene family in cancer cells at the transcriptomic level, we selected VCX gene family-positive A375 (melanoma) and PC9 (lung adenocarcinoma) cell lines. Stable cell lines with lentiviral shRNA targeting the conserved sequences shared by all VCX family members were generated, and cells treated with non-targeting shRNA were used as controls. Total RNA was extracted from cells at the logarithmic growth phase for RNA-seq library construction and sequencing. Differential expression genes and pathway analysis were performed to assess the transcriptomic alterations following VCX gene family knockdown. This dataset provides insights into the potential role of the VCX gene family in multiple cancer types.
