Effect of JAK1/2 Inhibitor treatment on beta cells from mice fed on high fat diet

GSE294866 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 11 samples 2026/04/16 GPL24247
Summary
Cellular senescence is a stress response mechanism marked by upregulation of antiapoptotic pathways, loss of cellular function, and remodeling of the cellular secretory profile. Pancreatic beta cells undergo senescence with age and insulin resistance. Targeted removal of senescent cells in mouse models of diabetes improves glucose homeostasis, demonstrating the role beta cell senescence in diabetes progression. Especially, JAK1/2 inhibitor counteracted secondary senescence induction and restored eta cell function in high-fat diet-fed mice
