The role of Snail1 in collective migration

GSE296475 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 12 samples 2026/05/01 GPL28330
Summary
Snail1 is a transcription factor directly associated with epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), but our study reveals its significant role in the collective migration process beyond EMT. Through sequencing, we found that knockdown of Snail1 weakens intercellular connections during migration and diminishes the activity of migration-related pathways. Additionally, the expression of a series of downstream genes related to the cytoskeleton and cell migration is also reduced.
