Summary
This study focuses on analyzing the gene expression profiles of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) in mice following the induction of sepsis, using RNA sequencing (RNA-seq). PBMCs play a central role in the immune response, and their transcriptional changes can provide critical insights into the systemic immune dysregulation that occurs during sepsis. By identifying key genes and pathways that are altered in response to sepsis, this research aims to uncover molecular mechanisms driving disease progression and immune dysfunction. The findings could pave the way for the development of targeted therapies or diagnostic biomarkers to improve the management and treatment of sepsis.
