Single-Nucleus Transcriptomics Reveals Cell Type-Specific Remodeling and Epilepsy Associated Microglia

GSE306031 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 31 samples 2026/07/30 GPL24247
Summary
In acquired epilepsy, an inciting injury is believed to trigger epileptogenesis, leading to dysfunctional networks that have both a propensity to give rise to seizures as well as impair normal cogntition. We have performed single nucleus sequencing on hippocampal tissue from a mouse model of temporal lobe epilepsy. The tissue was collected during time-points at which seizures and memory deficts are just begining to emerge. We anticipate this dataset will allow for the identification of key changes underlying epileptogenesis and provide candidates for therapeautic intervention.
