Summary
The adult B cell pool is a developmental mosaic comprising cells of early life (ELO) and adult origin. To further understdand the differences between B cells of each origin we used a genetic time stamping approach to lable ELO B cells and FACS isolate from the spleen naive follicular and marginal zone B cells, B1 B cells from the peritoneal cavity, and memory B cells (MBC) from the peyer's patch. The assay for transposase accessible chromatin sequencing (ATAC-seq) was performed on each population to identify epigenetic programming that corresponded to ELO versus adult derived B cells.
