Summary
Our study provides novel insights into the role of monocyte-derived IL-1β in the decline of serum HBsAg during nucleotide analogs (NAs) therapy for CHB(chronic hepatitis B). IL-1β not only emerges as a mechanistically relevant biomarker but may also represent a future therapeutic target for strategies aimed at achieving a functional cure.
