Effect of ARNT on hypoxic response in Panc1 cells

Summary
The hypoxic response is influence by both the tissue of origin and local environmental influences. The hypoxic response is mediated in large part by the hypoxia-inducible transcription factors HIF-1 and HIF-2, which share a common beta subunit (also called ARNT). We looked at Panc1 cells, a pancreatic adenocarcinoma cell line, and compared the response to hypoxia in both regular tissue culture media and in pancreatic TIFM (tumor interstitial fluid media), and assessed the degree to which ARNT knockout mediates the observed changes
