RNA-seq of mouse suprarenal aorta from VAMP8-knockout and wild-type mice with AngII or saline infusion

GSE326751 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 16 samples 2026/04/06 GPL34290
Summary
VAMP8 (vesicle-associated membrane protein 8) is a SNARE protein implicated in exocytotic secretion from immune and vascular cells. To investigate the role of VAMP8 in the vascular transcriptomic response to AngII infusion, we profiled gene expression in suprarenal aortae of VAMP8-knockout (Vamp8-/-) and wild-type C57BL/6 mice receiving 5-day continuous subcutaneous infusion of angiotensin II (AngII, 1,000 ng/kg/min) or saline via osmotic minipump. Four experimental groups were generated: WT+Saline, WT+AngII, V8KO+Saline, and V8KO+AngII (n=4 per group). Differential expression analysis identified transcriptomic changes associated with AngII treatment, VAMP8 deficiency, and their interaction in the aortic wall.
