Summary
Fine particulate matter (PM2.5) is an environmental pollutant associated with adverse health effects, including increased cancer risk. To investigate early transcriptional responses to PM2.5 exposure in non-malignant epithelial cells, we performed bulk RNA sequencing of wildtype mouse mammary epithelial EpH4 cells cultured under two-dimensional (2D) conditions. Cells were either left untreated or exposed to PM2.5. This dataset captures genome-wide gene expression changes induced by PM2.5 in wildtype epithelial cells and provides insight into stress response and pathophysiological pathways activated upon particulate matter exposure.
